My reflection :
As I sit down and reflect on my 3 months studying for my mass communication diploma at Inti College Subang (virtually), I’m thankful that Inti is doing its best to prioritize their students and lecturers safety by conducting online classes and workshops however I wished that I could have experienced my very first semester in real life at campus so that I can meet my friends and lecturers, I would have imagined the existence of Covid-19 happening during my very first year of college.
On a more relevant note, throughout this semester my lectures have brought me many new found knowledge.
Mass Communication
I learned many key concepts & theories of mass communication as well as various types of media and their uses.
Principles of advertising
This course provided me an understanding of various types advertising strategies and campaigns for consumer goods and services.
Public Speaking
I made many friends in this class and an amazing experience discussing and presenting different types of topics. I particularly enjoyed presenting my Power Point presentation about K-pop.
English for academic purpose
I always thought I spoke English well, this class opened my eyes to all my grammar mistakes. This class enhance my ability to communicate in English and improved my essay writing skills.
Fundamentals of marketing
Marketing class provided me a better understanding on the basic concepts and principles of marketing.
Malaysian studies
This class enlightened me about the historical development of Malaysia. I developed a much greater appreciation for current events today.
